Stone Bridge Farm B & B is located on a quiet, scenic, historic road with 322 acres of fields, woods and nearly a mile of a state stocked trout stream.

-Kayaking on the countless nearby ponds and rivers

-Swimming at Pierce Lake, Beard Brook or Gleason Falls to name a few.  We can also direct you to more secluded, hike in swimming spots.

-Fishing is enjoyed in the state stocked trout stream on our property or paddle out onto one of the local ponds for bass fishing.  If your skills need sharpening arrangements can be made for fly fishing lessons. 

-Hiking and biking is popular in the 1400 acre Fox State Forest just up the road.

-Ballooning is popular in this area.  With at least a week advance notice we can arrange a trip for you.  Sometimes the balloons launch from our field in front of the house!

fantastic snow shoeing just out our door or at Fox State Forest.

-Golf at the local public course Angus Lea Golf

-Hunting is popular in this part of New Hampshire.  We can make arrangements at the local hunt club  Wilderness Adventures Hunting

-Paintball is a blast in nearby Weare.  Adventure Games Paintball-Antiquing at the many interesting local antique shops

-Gibson Pewter Second generation, Jonathon Gibson, crafts over 100 different designs of lead free pewter in his 200 year old barn in Historic Hillsborough Center. http://gibsonpewter.com/

-Withington Auctions have made the historic Hillsborough Center well known.  The auctions are held on Thursdays from April through October.  Withington Auctions-The Gallery at Well Sweep and Art on the Square feature many local artists works. Fox State Forest, Hillsborough

This is within walking distance of Stone Bridge Farm.  there are 1400 acres of beautiful trails for hiking and biking.  Fox is a research forest for the state.

You can hike or drive up Mt Kearsarge to picnic areas with amazing 360 degree views of NH.
